Christmassy picspam

Mum and me decided to do a traditional Christmas tree this year - the kind with blown glass ornaments and stuff, as it was in her childhood - and mine, too.

Personally, I prefer the style from last year - it's more natural, more balanced and, IMO, more pretty. But Mum was feeling nostalgic, and I wanted to do her the favour.

I think I like both trees and your cookies also look wonderful. We decorated our tree this morning and I'm quite proud of it, although all the branches are strangely upright (like someone pointed a gun at it). I hope you have a lovely evening tonight and a lovely day tomorrow x

That's probably because the vendors tend to wrap/tie the poor trees too tightly (unless they lace the soil with Viagra).

One day we must organise a great Christmas party somewhere. Then I can bake for all of you cyberfriends.
