Baked two more sorts of cookies today. For the Germans: Diamanten-Taler mit kandierten Kirschen und Hagelzucker sowie Zimtplätzchen mit Mandelblättchen. They were not so much work than the others before but very yummy.

This baking frenzy is getting dangerous. *g*

What are Policeman's Pies?

They're actually a thing called a Drover's Pie, or a Stockman's Pie but because a Policeman gave my hubby a challenge to bake him some, we call them Policeman's Pies.

They are an ordinary steak pie at the bottom, topped with egg and bacon pie mix, and left open when baked. Hubby makes his extra nice by the addition of tasty cheese and cracked black pepper to the egg and bacon mix.
