No, seriously...

Are you sure you want to know? Well, okay, but don't complain afterwards about the whining.

I think I ought to stop writing entirely. Or, at the very least, I ought to stop posting my stuff anywhere. Perhaps writing exclusively for my desk drawer will prove less frustrating - and more frustration is the last think I could use right now, considering what's waiting for me job-wise.

After all, I used to be perfectly happy writing for my desk drawer for, oh, thirty years or so. Why I thought it was a good idea to change that is sometimes unclear for me. Unfortunately, you can't really step in the same river twice, now can you?

As long as I get a key to it, you can write for your desk drawer :)

Honestly, I read youur stuff with pleasure, but university claims all my reviewing and writing ability at the moment. And although I know a squee would be enough for you, I feeel bad when I cannot leave a thoughtful review to a thoughtful work... *hugs tight*

This is not you - or about any particular person. It's about the fact that other people seem to be able to attract literal armies of readers and I'm not one of those. And that's frustrating.
