Summer plans
So, now it's official. We're going to Stockholm this summer, in late July. We've been to the travel agency today, booked the journey and paid half the money. It's not exactly cheap, and it involves flying, which for me, is Teh Evil, but we've been wanting to go to Scandinavia for so long, and the programme seems interesting.
Not to mention that I might get the chance to meet Dís in person, which would be terrific. Another one from Edhellond, after
earonn,
altariel,
the_wild_iris and
edge_of_ruin! Yay! It means a lot to me, since I live under a rock and have so little chance to meet anyone I've got to know in cyberspace.
Will try to post the rest of the Slovenian and perhaps some of the French picspam before I got more pictures to share, though...

As for the costs, every place is expensive for us, I'm afraid. We have very weak money over here; have to pay 250+ forints (that's our national devise) for one frigging Euro. And with Mum retired and me an underpaid teacher, we usually start saving money for next year's holidays as soon as we return from this year's journey. *g*
But, you know, as my Granny always used to say, what I've seen nobody can take from me, so it's well worth the costs. Especially when I can meet people I've only known from the 'Net previously.

Atm, I'm also considering going to Sweden for a week in mid- or late July, although in the Western part of Sweden. May go with family in which case we'll be 8 or 10 people (mostly kids); only thing is, I don't think one can get online at the place we usually stay. Don't know if I can survive without my comp for so long!
