As for the costs, every place is expensive for us, I'm afraid. We have very weak money over here; have to pay 250+ forints (that's our national devise) for one frigging Euro. And with Mum retired and me an underpaid teacher, we usually start saving money for next year's holidays as soon as we return from this year's journey. *g*
But, you know, as my Granny always used to say, what I've seen nobody can take from me, so it's well worth the costs. Especially when I can meet people I've only known from the 'Net previously.
