In other news, on Monday it goes back to work. I am partly relieved that I can finally leave the flat, partly sad that the blessed peace is going to end. But I have to earn a living somehow, and considering the current state of our economy, I must be glad that I have a job to begin with.

I'm not very enthusiastic about the returning to work part, though. As far as I was at home, sick, at least I could pretend that the total shittiness of my working situation doesn't exist. I know a lot of people have it much worse, but it doesn't make it easier for me.

They are, aren't they? Especially the banner with all the horsey heads. It wasn't an easy choice, as practically all buttons and banners use move motives, and I violently disliked the movies. But the horsey stuff is so very Rohan, and the icon was something different, so I liked it intently.

Thanks. I am glad, I can't deny it - especially over the positive reviews that I got for those stories. Concerning the mess at its start (do you remember the renewed slash debate?) the MEFAs turned out to be a rather decent thing, I think.

I didn't really get involved in the MEFAs this year, but I think the slash debate will rear it's head fairly regularly. I'm just so happy for you to have some awards and nice reviews!

Well, I think she's busier, and distracted, more on in her life. I've heard rumours she's even had a baby! So, what I think has happened is more she's living her life, and letting others live theirs, and not interfering as much, which has to be good.

If more of the high morale prudes got married and consequently enlightened, life in the fandom would be so much more bearable. Not that it would help the hopeless cases, but at least it would get the repressed ones out of our hair.
