Eragon sequel
Finished reading "Eldest" by Christopher Paolini, the sequel to "Eragon". It took me several weeks, although I usually read a book of this magnitude in a mere two or three days.
I liked "Eragon" when I first read it. It had a certain naive charm. Unfortunately, "Eldest" is verbose, flat and boring. I've regretted buying it - I might try selling both it an "Eragon" to a second-hand bookshop. It's not worth the space it taking up in my book-case.
Too bad. I had high hopes for this trilogy.
