Why must they change the frigging layout allt he time? It annoys me to hell. Barely get I used to the most recent changes, everything looks different again!

I don't care that it's better so - if it is. It's still annoying!

I haven't actually tried to use it yet, but they seem to have done a pretty major job on it!

If your computer can run one, maybe it'd be worth downloading an LJ client, which would at least mean you were less at the mercy of their current update form whims?

It freaked me out at first, too. And I'm not sure what they are actually trying to improve; I don't see new functionality (such as the previously-added autosave function, which I have come to love following several unexpected browser crashes), just existing features moved to new places on the page.

It's certainly *not* an improvement! LJ has slowed down considerably, at least on my end, and I keep getting random error messages all the time!

I've been getting random error messages for weeks now, and LJ now regularly crashes my browser. So far, the only additional annoying thing the new Update Page seems to be doing to me is producing a spell-checked post in type size far too small to read easily. (Well, there is the little matter that now I can't find anything, but that's a less bothersome annoyance; I'm sure I'll learn the new navigation layout over time, but I'm not going to be growing a new pair of eyes any time soon!)
