A completely hilarious essay

If you're an Original Trek fan, you mustn't miss Laura Goodwin's essay, The Vulcan Penis Problem. No, it's completely harmless, despite the provocative title - it discusses the lack of creativity of smut writers when it comes to Vulcan mating habits, and that in a way that's not just completely neutral but also hilarious.

I cross-posted this to [livejournal.com profile] telekis_vendiak. One can recommend essays as well, right?

ROFL - thank you! While this is definitely more than I ever wanted to know about vulcan penises, it cracks me up!! Has anyone ever brought this up at a con?

I don't know. I never participated in a con - well, save from the rather lame gatherings of the Hungarian Star Trek Club. And yeah, I wasn't all that interested in the Vulcan anatomy either. What I found very good was her criticism on the horrible un-creativity of the smut writers.

Honestly, I like my smut as much as the next dirty old lady, but the "how to get peck A into slot B manual" gets a little bit boring after a while.
