How on Earth is it Friday again?

Admittedly, I did have a very hectic week. I left the house twice as often as I usually do during a week, and some of those trips (like the one to the bank) were fairly useless and time-consuming. But still...

In any case, I was at home today and had kitchen duty. Cooked for two days in advance, which means I won't have to tomorrow when we have laundry day; or on Sunday when we have that concert in the National Gallery, which is a blessing. I even managed to squeeze a little bit of crafting into the day, talked to three different friends on the phone, watched a bit of telly... and am totally floored now.

Actually, I'm thinking of baking something tomorrow, since I don't have to cook, but I'm not sure I'll bring up the energy. We'll see.

Yes, I see your point — that is what I always thought while still working. It still doesn't explain where the time has gone, though — and why so fast!

Go on...give yourself a day off from cooking. I had a grocery delivery last night, so it's salad and ready cooked chicken for me tonight. Yay! No cooking.

No cooking is always a relief. I did some baking, but baking is fun!

There has been a time, when we were glad that Friday had finally arrived!

I remember. Time wasn't running away from us quite so quickly back then...
