My own awards for 2003!

Since everyone seems to be handing out awards nowadays, and since we have less than 6 hours left from this particular year, I decided to give out my own awards, to two very under-appreciated group of people in fandom: the faithful, supportive readers and the selfless betas. *g*

Unfortunately, I have no artistic skills whatsoever, and I'm a complete fool when it comes to Web things, so all the winners get is my love and gratitude, whatever it might be worth.

There are no first, second, etc. places. The winners are listed in alphabetical order, for lack of any better solution. Are you curious who they are? Then look behind the tag!

In the "Most Supportive and Faithful Readers" category, the winners are:

* Erunyauve
* Finch
* JastaElf
* Lasse-Lanta
* Larian Elensar
* Vorondis

In the "Most Helpful and Selfless Betas" category the winners are:

* Altariel
* Brigid (my Star Trek beta)
* Gemma aka The Wild Iris
* Isabeau of Greenlea
* Jenn aka Tolkanonms aka lhun_dweller
* Larian Elensar

I hope I haven't forgotten anyone who has repeatedly done beta work for me in the recent year. That's one hell of a labout, let me tell you!

Having done this long-overdue duty, I can only wish all of you a happy new year, with more luck and success than 2003 has been.

Thank you!! *bows* (Believe it or not, I thought this was a good idea before I looked behind the tag.)

A Happy New Year to you as well, and here's to good!Thranduil and the completion of Innocence!

Why shouldn't I believe you?

As for Innocence I can only hope. It's up to Erestor, actually. That's one complicated Elf for you. I've been stuck with that story for more than a year, just because he is not willing to face his childhood memories.

I mean, if I could have Lindir to comfort me, I would be a lot more curious, won't you?

Sorry, I meant "curageous", not "curious", obviously. Dratted language! Why have very different words to look so similar?

To avoid the impression that life is easy?

If I knew Erestor better, I'd have a word with him. As it is now, I can only add the necessary courage to my New Year's wishes.
