The do_me_gildor LJ community has 3. Yes, three. Including my not-so-humble self. That is sad. Our patron is far less appreciated than he deserves.

Well, yeah, Eru... I was involved with the Real Life equivalent with the guy for quite some time, and I can tell you, it wasn't an easy thing, even on the spiritual plane.

As for the Gildor community, I don't think I'll do much over there. But it was a matter of honour to join. Maybe in time I can convert the other two members to the true cult of the Lord of Edhellond. *g*

While I'm not sure of the wording of the vows when one takes holy orders, I imagine it has more poetry & dignity than 'do me, Eru!' :)

It has indeed. The Church has its faults, and they are not small ones, but when it comes to ceremonies... oh boy, it's amazing and gorgeous. And I still sorely miss those.
