Well, tbh I kind of grew up on K/S slash, so I really couldn't ever see either of them with anybody else. And the movies didn't really help in that regard, lol! And it was never said Spock can only have sex every 7 years, just that he absolutely must have sex to survive the Plak Tow. *g* (I agree with you on Chekov and Kirk though, Kirks only redeeming feature was basically Spock, lol) If you have time, you could go read "Where no one has slashed before" over @ ship_manifesto. (I'd stay away from the LoTR tag, though! XD)
