Pre-Christmas activities
Tomorrow we'll be off for a one-day trip by coach - organized by a travel agency - to Schlosshof (Austria, 50 kms from Vienna) and Pressburg (Bratislava, Slowakia). A dozen or so colleagues from school are coming, too; we go to a different Christmas market every year.
I hope the weather remains good. I wouldn't be worried if we went by train, but going by bus when there's snow is always tricky, and Mum comes, too. Weather forecast is mostly positive, but one can never know.
My Christmas cards are already on their way, save for two. I'd like to ask the recipients to drop me a line when they arrive, just so that I'd know they didn't get lost.
Christmas concert will be on December 15, with two tiny little parts of contralto solo for me, so keeping the throat warm and practicing like crazy is the main agenda in these days. Other than that, there'll be more baking in the next fortnight, and we're going to Vienna for a one-day-trip, too.
