It's a canon name. Apparently, this was the last known place on the East Road during the time of the Ring War - beyond it, the maps became extremely vague. It isn't expressly stated that it was abandoned and derelict, that's my invention. I thought it would be so, since who would risk running an inn out there, in the wilderness.

This is an additional chapter I'm going to insert between the already posted Chapters 3 and 4 because I felt that the speed was too rushed and too many things were unexplained, so I decided to add a chapter and hopefully iron out the unevenness of the story.
