Call me naive, but I still believe it is possible to get good new Star Trek. Someday soon someone will write a new series with interesting, believable and likeable characters set in the actual Star Trek universe paying attention to the established canon and tell more important stories. It might come about purely by accident, but I refuse to live in a world where this isn't part of the future!
