Yep, I loved the series until Vecchio got replaced. I fear I lost interest after that. But Diefenbaker is one of my favorites in the whole series, especially for the fact that he is supposed to be deaf - but seems to have excellent hearing (or other compensation skills) if there is anything in it for him.
