You can never find all typos in your own writing. I know. I've tried. No matter how many times you proofread, there's always one more. And there's always someone who finds it. Which wouldn't be so bad, if they didn't point it out in a manner that suggests that you are either a complete idiot or don't care about your grammar. Alas, not only on ff.net. I had some crushing experiences with the MEFAs too, this year.
Me, I'm not particularly bothered by a few stray typos, either, as long as the story I'm reading is good. Nobody is perfect, and spellchecker can only do so much for you. Especially when those dratted homonymes come into the game.
