Well, it needs to be done, or else I relly *would* lose track of them. By removing sci-fi from hiddenrealms, that community could be made available for horror fic *and* original stuff, for which you were loking for a home.
LJ has some very useful tools for organizing an archive. Both the tags and the memories make it easy to group entries according to topic. For my part, I always make an index page for each fandom and each story, and cross-linking makes it easy for the reader to navigate. Even I can manage to do it, so it shouldn't be a problem for anyone else.
