And Elise is already run ragged with an elderly, ailing father, a rather difficult mother-in-law that has moved in with them a couple of years ago, a husband who has his own quirks and five grandchildren. Hubby's birthday next week promises to be a big family event; she'll do all the cooking, I guess, and whatever is needed to organize the party, so baking would have been the last straw that broke the camel's back, I guess. While for me it's just fun times.
