We have about half a dozen TV channels specializing in food, cooking, baking, home improvement, etc. Those are the ones showing endless re-runs of the GBBO and all its versions, including the Aussie, the Kiwi, the Canadian and even the Hungarian one. It is our daily evening ritual with Mum to sit down in front of the telly and watch the same seasons for the umpteenth time. *g* Our tastes in telly are usually quite different — she likes politics and soccer, both of which I despise, and she can't quite understand what I find so good in sci-fi, fantasy and horror — but baking shows are something we can and do share.
