Because we had a quiet day after all that excitement again. Which is not a bad thing in my books, really. We did the laundry, ate leftover soup with cookies (yes, I still have three tin boxes full of the things), I did a teensy bit of crafting, we put away the major part of the Christmas decoration - except the tree, that will stay until February 2 - and that was basically it.
My goddaughter called a short time ago to tell me that the kids loved their presents, which makes me very happy. I put an awful lot of work into the things, after all. In case nobody remembers, we are talking about these things:
Little Emma's quiet book, originally meant for her birthday, back in June;
One of these mini-mittens for each kid;
Kiddie oven gloves;
Princess handbags for Little Emma and her cousin;
and Theo's personal cookbook.
The little ones could even be persuaded to say "Thank you" to the phone, even though I still have a dinosaur model, so that they couldn't actually see me during the process.
