So, my amazing apple-cheesecake is in the oven, the kitchen is ready for me to prepare the sausage rolls for the evening, and the guy from UPC was here early in the morning to install the new mediabox for Mum, through which she will be able to watch almost 200 channels, including some German ones, which had been the reason for the change, and the new super-fast internet modem for me.

There were slight problems with the result that I am currently unable to access my webmail account, but IT guy from next door promised to take a look when he brings my new flat screen and copies my old hard drive onto the inside my brand new PC. So, for the moment I am still on my iPod and on my geriatric laptop, which I love to pieces but don't really like to type on it.

Oh, well, with the heating broke in the study it is unlikely that I would use my main PC anyway. Apparátus try, today is going to be the coldest day of 2014. Of course, they won't be any more days in this year to top it. ;))

Update: Arthur's Quest - Book One is finished! Go me!

You still stitched it! It's beautifully done.

However did you find the design on the 'net? I've been looking for this kind of thing for years, since buying some very elaborate cards at a craft fair, although admittedly I've been searching for pricking stencils, but I've found hardly anything. I have a couple of small baubles but that's about it.

Try googling the words "Fadengrafik kostenlose Vorlagen" - German websites are full of beautiful patterns. Most of them won't offer free schablones and instructions but some do, and a few even evenn English.

I usually google for images, not for websites. If I find a pattern I like, I save the image, print it out and try to figure out where the stitches are supposed to be. It's the cheapest solution, even if the results are a bit uneven sometimes.

Thank you! I'll try that when I have a bit of free time from writing challenges!
