The joys of the day

#1 - The stormy wind we were having damaged my satellite dish - or some spare part of it. In any case, I haven't got any German TV. Was forced to watch Hungarian TV, which hasn't happened to me for a very long time. Okay, it had Murdoch Mysteries and Bones, but I miss my German TV. *grrrrrrrr!* Also, Bones has new cast members whom I don't like. I especially hate the stupid young psychologist guy.

#2 - LJ stopped mailing comments to me. Poor site is having one hiccup after another lately. It's a good thing picowrimo is over until next session, it would have been a real bother to look up all possible comments and replies.

#3 - And this actually is good news! Remember me ranting about not finding the black ringbook of the size of a football field with all my medieval research filed in it? Well, today I figured out why: I've conveniently forgotten that I had moved the whole stuff into a new, blue ringbook twice that size! Yeah, that's me. Stupid. Feel free to laugh. I do, too. *g*

Why do our entertainment systems always go down right when we need them the most? A stormy day is just when you'd want to be snuggled safe indoors watching TV!

Indeed. But there are always videotapes and DVDs, so it's not all that bad. It's more annoying that the Russian election is screwing up LJ again.
