...Mum's coming home on Monday! Yay!

We're still waiting for the results, which will determine whether she'd need additional therapy, and she'll have to go back to get the stitches taken out, but she'll come home in two days' time!

*does happy dance*

Surprisingly well, actually, all things considered. And she can't wait to get home, after five weeks in frigging hospital, of course.

No wonder she can't wait to get home!

How about you - have you managed OK? You worried so much before your mother's surgery.

Yeah, I worried a lot... still worrying a bit about the outcome of the results and whether she'll need chemo or radiation therapy or whatnot afterwards. But mostly, I'm just tired. It's been a very long five weeks, and school re-starting two weeks ago didn't exactly help things.

Perhaps if Mum's back home, I'll start sleeping a little more again. Or just rest. It will mean three to four more hours at home, comfortable, even if I'll have to take care of her, instead of running to the hospital and vegetating on some chair at her bedside.

As to the results of the test, I certainly know how hard it is waiting for them. *sends encouraging thoughts*

Lets hope you'll be able to sleep properly tonight.

Goodnight, Soledad.
