New LJ layout

I know it's actually easier to handle than the previous one. I know it's even better on the eyes. I still hate it. I hate Yahoo's shiny new things, too. Yes, I know it's unreasonable. But I hate changes. It takes me forever to get used to a certain layout/working method/whatever, and when I finally figured out what makes it tick, they change it again.

I'm slow and conservative and like things as they used to be. That comes with advanced age. So yes, I'm annoyed now.

Actually, it's not just you. I absolutely loathe the new LJ layout also. It's so...not right, somehow. I don't know how, but it grates seriously on my nerves.

*hugs*

Plus, you can't highlight by mouseclick anything you'd want to copy for yourself anymore. You either have to highlight the entire page by clicking on the right mouse button or forget the whole thing. It's highly annoying when I'm trying to copy and paste things like story headers for [livejournal.com profile] telekis_vendiak. It makes updating my fanfic rec page twice as complicated.

Oh, you can't? That's...strange. I think I still can...

I can do it on the main page, but not here. Where things usually are behind the tag.

Mm...strange.

Me hate it too. I guess both of us will get used to it one day.

If you hate the new LJ layout, why not switch back to one of the older ones? I still use Dystopia for viewing my personal journal; I only see the new layout when I'm logging in.
