Advent, day 7

Today was just a tad busy again. We were waiting for the exterminator until 5pm or so, therefore I didn't dare to leave the house, although I had plans. Fortunately, my friend Evie took upon herself the task of delivering the pre-ordered eggs to our threshold. That was nice of her, but it also meant that I didn't get to go to school (after the kids had left) and to see some of my girls who work in the afternoon. Ah, well.

We had a visit from the physiotherapist, and I spontaneously concocted something for lunch. It was surprisingly good, considering the fact that it started with "let's take a look into fridge and freezer and see what's there". As a result, we don't have any potatoes left, and the last bag of frozen mixed veggies are gone, too. I'll have to make a food run on Thursday; because tomorrow will be baking day again. Yay!

The exterminator finally came, so we're done until March. But the best part of the day is the fact that I've finished the last Christmas gift fic and have just finished typing it up. That's one enormous relief. I hate making promises and then not being able to keep them.

Still, I'm fairly tired by now. Thankfully, there will be another GGBO Christmas special tonight, so watching telly would be a delight.
