Other than that, one of my two favourite characters was killed off, the other one - the dwarf - got promoted (although I had the impression he'd rather be dead), and there was much gratutious nakedness again. I found particularly disgusting the Grand Maester in translucent nightgown. Oh, please! The only thing even more disgusting than that was King Hrotgar in Beowulf, clad in a piece of bedlinen only. But at least that was not the actor himself. I still wonder how they talked Anthony Hopkins into that role.
Oh, and the Lannisters were being evil, of course. Both the legitimate and the illegitimate ones. Or insane. Or both. So, why should I care, unless waiting for them to meet accordingly brutal and evil ends? Unfortunately, considering Martin's nihilistic worldview, they may even live happily ever after.
