Well, I did write a few new peices to the Sekrit Advent Project(TM). I'm currently in the middle of #14, so there are 10 more pieces to do. I've even typed up everything I wrote today, so I'd call this a success. But working with such a close deadline is hard. I don't know how the NaNoWiRo folks manage it.

Other than that, well, we were washing half the day and cleaning the frigging balcony windows. Which promptly caused the rain to start falling. Murphy's Law was in full efficiency again.

Tomorrow, there will be more writing (or so I hope) and curtain washing. *shudders* Mom is adamant in hanging back the things on the windows while they are still wet. (The curtains, not the windows.) It'll be such fun sitting next to a wet curtain all afternoon. [/sarcasm]

Did I already mention how much I hate housework?

My mother always does that too...and as you say there's nothing quite like sitting next to a wet curtain all day!

I believe the idea is that the curtains dry crease free.

I know it is. It's just very unpleasant to be near them. Anyway, we postponed the wole thing as we forgot to soak them yesterday evening. And they need at least half a day - and several changes of water - before we can put them into the washing machine. This is a very dusty area, and central heating doesn't help, either.

Er. no, dust doesn't help a bit! I bet you were so sorry the curtains didn't get washed, I think not!

Well, it's only delayed. *sighs*
