Baubles!!!
Oct. 5th, 2023 07:23 pmAs promised, a group photo of the felt Christmas baubles I've made in the last few days. I think they are quite pretty, but I'm biased, of course. ;))

In the meantime I've gone on to the mini sewing kits. Those include a great many different phases; right now, I've brought all 12 of them (yes, they've spawned 3 more while I wasn't looking!) to Phase 1: all parts cut out and the inner pockets are stitched on. I've even sewn on the needle-holder stripes and made the lashes they'll close with for 3 of them, which would be Phase 2; I'll continue with that on the other 9.
Tomorrow will be burdened with grocery shopping, meaning that the morning hours will be lost crafting-wise. But I've cooked for two days (Mary Berry's chicken pasta bake, in case anyone is interested), so I might be able to do a bit of sewing around noon. *fingers crossed*
Not much else was done today, but I was fairly busy with the above-mentioned things up to 4pm. I even skipped some of the tv programme to finish Phase 1 entirely. I've already done a lot for the fair, but even more is still to do - it will be a busy, busy month.
