Just a side note

... because I'm still glued in front of the telly, watching the World Athletics Championships. Save for the whole morning when we were having our cleaning frenzy, by temperatures over 30°C, that is. Since we didn't have any athletes with half a chance in any of today's disciplines, watching the competition was a relaxed affair and we could enjoy the show without biting our nails.

After all this, not much else got done. I made an omelet for lunch and had a long, nice phone chat with Adrienne, a young (ex-)colleague. Otherwise we just watched the telly. I think I have square eyes by now. *g*
