This year's Christmas cards

Picspam under a cut; I've upsized the pictures a bit, so that the individual cards would be better to see. I took group photos because the storage space of the iPad mini is nearly full.

Yes, I know the photos are far from perfect, but they give you the general idea, or so I hope.

Otherwise, it was a quiet, crafty day. I've finished the page base for the back cover of Dani's quiet book: sewn on the pocket and the borders, did half the Velcro work (painful!) and decided to add small buttons that would serve as the knots of the bowties, just to bring a bit more colour into the whole thing. Now there are another 8 pieces of Velcro to sew on (fortunately, there are "only" 16 pieces altogether, not 32 as I first calculated because I can't count), the eyes of the teddy heads and the button, and that will be, basically, it.

We ate leftover Sauerbraten, watched some telly and were generally lazy for the rest of the day. Well, I was. Mum decided to dust all available surfaces in the living room, but everyone their own hobbies, right?

Yes, there are. Not very visible, of course, since most of the cards were made of Stamperia's Vintage Christmas paper pad, but with a good magnifying glass...

I always try to make every single item just a little bit different. That way those who buy/get them can be sure that nobody else has exactly the same. ;))

Mum actually likes dusting. This whole cleaning obsession of hers comes from the fact that there is so little she can still do herself.
