Uneventful

I made two food runs in the morning. I took down the dried laundry. I cooked lunch. I took a nap. I played Solitary online. And that was, basically, my day. It was simply too warm to do anything that would have required higher brain functions... such as I can bring up in these days anyway.

We are still recovering from Mum's bad day (on Friday). She's physically OK, but is still under the weather a bit: listless and lacking energy. Fortunately, she could tell her friends all about it on the phone and shared suffering is less suffering, right?

Ich habe das Alter erreicht wo ich am Besten funktioniere bei ständigem 24-26. Grad. Alles was drüber oder drunter ist ist entweder zu warm oder zu kalt. Leider gibt es diese ideale Temperaturen fast nie.

Danke für die guten Wünsche, ich hoffe sie rappelt sich wieder auf. In der Regel tut sie das, früher oder später. Es ist eher so, daß sie sich sehr erschrocken hat von all dem... ich übrigens auch.

Sorry to see that your Mum had such a bad day. We have got over the heat wave and are back at our usual August temperatures of 20 — 25C or so. I wish you the same as soon as possible!

The worst part is that by nightfall temperatures drop 10-15 degrees, and then we freeze. Cold sweat drying on one's back isn't the fun people think it would be. I need to change my clothes — down to the small ones — several times a day.

When does her physiotherapist come again? Maybe they can put your mind at rest and perhaps provide exercises to strengthen her muscles.
