It's a girl!

Here you see the birthday girl, with the huge bouquet of flowers delivered by visiting family yesterday, the big Lindor bomb and the upper part of the birthday cake that did not collapse into itself. Yay for Grandma's idiot proof sponge recipe!



Actually, the mini cake turned out very delicious, with coffee-chocolate ganache and cream cheese-raspberry filling and chocolate icing. We had non-alcoholic peach champagne to lunch (I finally got around to make that stuffed chicken with the red cabbage), using Grandma's best china to celebrate the occasion. So, it was nice.

Other than that, I made another page for the baby book, so it was a very productive day.

Mum asked me to say thank you for all the birthday wishes. I actually dragged her in front of the computer to view them all. ;)
